In the ABOUT US tab, I referred to one of the first poems I wrote for a missionary family whose young toddler died suddenly. Here is that poem.

My First Day in Heaven

I've had my first day in Heaven, and I have so much to share.
I squeezed your hand, dear Mommy, and instantly I was there!

Jesus was here to greet me--He smiled and called me by name.
He picked me up and hugged me; I felt all warm and glad and safe.

There's nothing wrong with my body! I can run and jump and play.
You know what else that's different? There's never an end to the day!

I've got lots of friends here, but you know what I like the best?
Whenever I want, I can run to Him, and He holds me to His breast!

Just like you used to do, Mommy, and He plays with me like my Dad;
I loved it on earth with my family, but now that I'm here, I'm glad.

Guess what, the houses are all so neat, there's no locks on windows or doors.
My house has diamonds and jewels and silver--and you should see the floors!

Everyone here knows Jesus; He loves us all the same;
And there's "millions and millions" of angels; we're always praising His Name.

Time just seems to fly here; I know it won't be long
Till the family's all together, and you'll see me healthy and strong!
