Welcome to my website! I'm excited that you've dropped by. If you're a card lover as I am, you'll enjoy browsing through the various categories.

I've always loved sending cards, so when I retired in 2001, I started House of Ruth Publishing with the intent of creating cards that speak life into every situation. 

The first poem I wrote prior to that time was for a missionary family whose young toddler died suddenly. I can only explain it as an inward impression that compelled me to go to the computer and start typing. It came as easy as taking dictation. 

I have been using that God-given gift since that time. He is the Author and I am the pen. I asked Him to give me poems for difficult situations for which I've never found a suitable card—situations like miscarriage, suicide or sudden death when there was no time for "good-bye." And He has done just that.

My desire is that House of Ruth cards will speak for you as you seek to encourage or inspire others.
